In a heartwarming display of compassion and goodwill, Ambassador Mariame Koné Touré and Amb Famoussa Touré both award-winning Peace Ambassadors from the Ivory Coast, paid a visit to the Azrael Orphanage in Nyanya, Abuja, leaving behind a trail of joy and gratitude.

With their philanthropic nature and dedication to promoting peace, Ambassador Mariame distributed foodstuffs and other essential items to the children, bringing smiles to their faces and hope to their hearts.

The Azrael Orphanage, home to twenty children between the ages of 5 months to 14 years, were happy with their generosity and kind-heartedness.

As they handed out food supplies, the children expressed their gratitude through songs of praise, filling the air with an atmosphere of joy and excitement. For these less privileged children, the visit was an extraordinary experience, one they would cherish for a long time.

In their address to the press, Ambassador Mariame emphasized the pressing need for more support for Nigerian children, particularly those who rely on society for their basic needs and upbringing. With unwavering determination, she stressed the importance of humanitarian service to the society.

As a Peace Ambassador, Amb. Mariame vowed to continue reaching out to as many underprivileged people as possible. But her commitment did not end with the distribution of essential items, she also expressed her intent to renovate the Orphanage home, ensuring that the children have a safe and comfortable environment to call their own.

With over 19 years of experience as a diplomat at the ECOWAS Court of Justice and her current role as the President of Ivorian in Nigeria, Ambassador Mariame Koné Touré is widely known throughout Africa for her humanitarian services and peace advocacy.

Their recent outreach to the Azrael Orphanage is just one example of the numerous initiatives they have undertaken and will continue to pursue.
