
Apostle Suleman’s Assassination Attempt, CAN Sends Strong Message to Nigerians.
The Edo state Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria has issued a statement condemning in the strongest possible terms the attempted assassination of the bishop and General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, Apostle Johnson Suleman. The statement notes that any attack against the man of God is an attack on the church and that seven people were killed, including security personnel attached to him.

CAN also requested that an investigation into the incident be conducted in order to establish who was responsible for the horrible murder and bring them to justice.
CAN expressed its condolences to the families of the victims in a statement that was released on Monday, October 24, 2022 and signed by Bishop (DR) Oriname Oyonnude Kure, the Chairman of CAN in the state of Edo.

The statement also urged the relevant security agencies to tighten security measures in order to prevent future attacks of this nature in the nation. The statement was released and signed by Bishop (DR) Oriname Oyonnude Kure. In addition to this, it requested that the nation’s security agencies take extra measures to bolster the nation’s ability to defend its citizens and their belongings.
CAN, which condemned the attempted assassination of the man of God as sinful and wicked, urged the people not to abdicate their civic duty of giving the police and other security services important information for the protection of security in the nation generally. This information was for the protection of security in the nation as a whole.
