Richard Mofe- Damijo, a veteran Nollywood actor, has praised his wife, Jumobi, for giving up her fame for their marriage.
The 60- year-old actor revealed this on Wednesday, the 21st anniversary of their marriage.
The actor took to Instagram to share a throwback photo of himself and his wife, as well as a more recent one.

Richard Mofe- Damijo is a grandfather and the proud father of five children, three sons, and two daughters. On Instagram, he posts pictures of his family and frequently expresses his gratitude for the close relationship he has with his children and grandchildren.
His first and only wife, May Ellen Ezekiel, also known as MEE, was a well-known magazine editor and TV personality. They were happily married with children and doing well in their endeavors until MEE’s death in 1996– she died during a fibroid surgery in a Lagos hospital.

RMD married his current wife, Jumobi Adegbesan, a journalist who used to work on the AIT talk show Lunch Break but has since left the media to work in the corporate sector. They married in 2000 and had children. According to the various photos he posts on social media, the entire family appears to have close bonds.
RMD considers his family to be the most valuable of all the gifts he has received in his life. We wholeheartedly agree with the veteran actor.
