A young woman named Xiao Mo, known for her incredible height, passed away recently at 23 years old.
Xiao Mo lived in Shaoyang, China, and was very tall, reaching 7.5 feet. She was popular online, with over 150,000 followers on Douyin, a platform like TikTok.
Sadly, she passed away on the 15th of January after getting very sick from catching cold.
People who knew her online loved her videos showing her daily life. They even called her “China’s Tallest Woman” because she was even taller than the famous basketball player Yao Ming!
Xiao Mo had a difficult life. Her mom left her when she was young, and her grandparents raised her.
Due to her height, reports say she had health problems with her heart and eyes.
After she passed away, her ashes were kept in a special place. It seems her dad, who wasn’t close to her, hasn’t picked them up yet.
Her online friends are very sad.
One person said, “Rest in peace, Xiao Mo. We hope you’re healthy and have loving parents wherever you are now.”

Another person who knew her from school shared, “She was kind and always helped others. She had to stop going to school because of her height and health.”
While some thought Xiao Mo was the world’s tallest woman, that title belonged to Rumeysa Gelgi from Turkey. She’s even taller than Xiao Mo and has a special condition that makes her grow very tall but also causes other health problems.
