Fear in Imo State As Hoodlums Behead Jonathan and Others.
There was tension in Imo state last Wednesday after some hoodlums went on a rampage and beheaded two persons in Orsu Local government area of the state.
The hoodlums also beheaded the gateman of Ekene Nnodimele, the lawmaker representing the constituency in the state House of Assembly, after setting his house ablaze.
The armed hoodlums also beheaded Johnathan Ugochukwu, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in the area.

According to the villagers, the attacks took place between 1am and 2am last Wednesday.
When our correspondent visited the area, he observed that the country home of Cyprian Akaolisa, the immediate past attorney general of the state and commissioner for justice, was also burnt.
A team of policemen was seen on the scene of the crime, inspecting the level of damage in Awo Idemili, the country home of Akaolisa.
The rampaging hoodlums also invaded the home of Clifford Mazi, the honourable councillor representing Amaebu Ebenatu ward, and burned down his vehicle and house after meeting the absence of the councillor.

The house of the President General of Amaebu Ebenatu, Oliver Ejelonu, was also razed by the armed rampaging hoodlums, but fortunately, Ejelonu escaped.

Our correspondent who visited all the houses that were vandalized by the hoodlums, noticed that so much household equipment was destroyed, vehicles were burnt and some lives were lost.
Nkechi Ugochukwu, the wife of the APC chieftain, disclosed to our correspondent that the hoodlums invaded their home and captured her husband, took him out, cutoff his head and burned down the house.

The immediate past attorney general of the state and commissioner of Justice, when contacted, disclosed that he had reported the incident to the police.
The commissioner of police in the state, Abutu Yaro, said that the police were investigating the attacks and that his men were closing in on the hoodlums.
