For some time now Nigerian singer Tiwatope popularly known as Tiwa Savage has been trending online for the wrong reasons after her tape somehow made its way online.
The mother of one who was born in Nigeria but raised in London did come out to clear the air just before the tape went gaga online.
According to her side of the story, she was being blackmailed by a yet-to-be-identified online influencer, and that she felt the right thing to do is to inform her fans and the public before the video finally hits the internet.
According to other reports, it was said that Tiwa mistakenly posted the video on her snap chat handle, but was too late to delete it which eventually got into the wrong hands.
Other reports have it that she did it on purpose just to make headlines and gain more online presence.
This is not the first time we have seen celebrities hare their tapes intentionally just to make fame. Kim Kardashian sprang up to fame after sharing her tape online.

The video attracted the attention of many Nigerians who looked up to her as a role model. Tiwa had also told her fans that she will talk to her son about it, and that was her top priority to make him understand what really happened.
