However, it was revealed that Harriet had maintained a relationship with her former boyfriend, Yaw Duah, in Ghana. Harriet’s recent return to Ghana and her reconnection with Yaw Duah marked the rekindling of their romance and plans for their impending marriage.
Upon learning about Harriet’s intentions, Michael Amoako was overwhelmed with emotions and tragically resorted to violence. He shot his wife before taking his own life. Prior to the heart-wrenching act, Amoako recorded an audio message, expressing his intentions and sharing his final wishes.
In the audio, Amoako pleaded with his family to repatriate his body to Ghana after his demise. He emphasized that the blame should not be placed on him but rather on his partner, urging listeners to understand his pain and the circumstances that led to this tragic event.
