“I Knew I Will Die So I Wrote My Will And Booked My Funeral Space”- Actress Kemi Afolabi.
Nollywood actress Kemi Afolabi took to her social media page just before 2022 began, to talk about her experience in 2021. The actress who was down with an undisclosed illness in the early period of 2021 said that she wrote her will and booked a space for her funeral but amidst all these, God had a purpose for her and God showed faithfulness in her life. This is inclined with the popular saying that ‘ man proposes, God disposes’ meaning that human beings can make any plans but only God can decide their success or failure.
Speaking about her experience, she said she underwent a COVID- 19 test every 48 hours over shortage of breath and she was on oxygen for a month and still there was no diagnosis.

The actress added that in light of her condition, she had to sell all her properties after she spent all her savings because she doesn’t want to start soliciting funds from the public as that will make her die quicker. See what she wrote in her own words;
” I wrote my will and booked a space with ebony vault this year 2021 but God showed me how faithful he is despite my unfaithfulness.
Who am I that God is so mindful of my existence? ? ? ? Me ordinary sand? ? ? ? ? That was toss around from my private hospital to LASUTH, to Army barracks hospital WAEC and finally LUTH where I spent over three months!
I did Covid test every 48hrs at LASUTH emergency because I was short of breath, was on oxygen for about a month, still no diagnosis after several tests were conducted. “
” Only a mad man says there is no God ooo. sold my properties after spending all my savings because I knew the thoughts of bringing my condition to the public eye or beg for funds at the time will kill me faster! ! !
Finally, I was diagnosed with a condition that has no cure but can be managed by medications and takes me in and out of the hospital at will (SLE).

Fluid blocked my lungs, affected my heart from functioning well which was the reason for my breathlessness and that is caused by the condition diagnosed! Surgery was the only option to drain out the fluid fast.
My life has changed forever but I am thankful I am still breathing. “
” Being in an industry that places high value on appearance, it’s been a struggle taking medications that’s helps ease the pains but affect my weight and people will constantly remind you of how FAT you’ve become without hesitations.

Recall that Kemi Afolabi in recent news said that she plans to start removing people who bring forth bad energy in her life. This came after the actress took to social media to cry out over constant hatred and body shaming on social media. Making this known in a lengthy post on her Instagram page, the actress said that when she feels drained and exhausted, she always removes certain people whether work-related or friendship level from her life. According to the actress, life is too precious to be spending and wasting it on those who don’t make her feel her best.
