As the 2018 Nigeria Goodwill Ambassador Awards Gala Night Draws nearer, the organizers have revealed that the Sekuro of Niger-Delta, Amanyanabo of Okochiri kingdom, King Ateke Tom JP is all set to receive the prestigious 2018 edition tagged “Celebration of Selfless Service” to be hosted in the nation’s capital.

The award’s organizer, Amb. Chris Odey who revealed this on Monday in Abuja on his arrival from port-Harcourt said after the team’s research in the Niger Delta region, King Ateke Tom was highly recommended by residents to be bestowed on, the accolade of Nigeria Goodwill Ambassador Award, 2018 for his humanitarian services and his ability to make peace reign in the region despite all troubles being experienced in the country especially within the states.

Odey who said the council of elders and the royalty himself will be storming Abuja for the prestigious awards added that a lot of dignitaries and celebrities who have been seeing to the wellbeing of Nigerians over the years and are not recognized will equally be bestowed on this day and give them more reasons to make the world go round which is why the 2018 edition is tagged “Celebration of Selfless Service”.

Chris further revealed that all modalities have been put in place to making sure every awardees is treated to a deserving night which will give such individuals the sense of reasoning that helping the less privilege is worth it even though they are not being acknowledge by the government but the world celebrates them which will encourage them to do more and ease the sufferings in the land.

He also revealed that the Award gala night will be hosted by the humanitarian nollywood diva, Tonto Dikeh and Abuja’s popular OAP, Ben200 and all invited guests will have a memorable night as the date was carefully chosen to be Friday, 21st September, 2018 at the national place of Honor, Shehu Musa Yar’adua Centre, Central Business District, Abuja by 6pm.
