The Nigerian billionaire was born on the 29th of April 1953 in Ibadan, he completed his primary school education at Ibadan Grammer school, after he finished his primary school education, he proceeded to comprehensive high school in Aiyetoro Ibadan, and also obtained his West African senior school certificate.
After Mike Adenuga completed his secondary school education, he moved to the northwestern Oklahoma state university, in new york city United States of America, and he graduated with a master’s degree in business administration.
The Nigerian billionaire also worked as a taxi driver, in other to support his education, in the year 1990, Mike Adenuga also received a drilling license from the Nigerian Federal government.
In 1999 mike Adenuga was also been issued a conditional Gsm license after the license was been revoked, he still received a second license, When the federal government of Nigeria held another auction in 2003, he also established his telecom business known as Globalcom, and it spread really fast, and started challenging other big telecom companies like; MTN, Airtel, etc.

In 2008 he successfully launched his telecom company in some parts of Western African countries like Benin, Ghana, Coted’ voire. In the year 2012, Mike Adenuga was awarded the prestigious honor, as grand commander of the order of Niger, by the federal government of Nigeria.
