2 Yahoo Boys Arrested for Attempting to Use Runs Girl for Money Rituals.
Another story of a suspected moneymaking ritual has been recorded in Ekiti State as runs girl has narrowly escaped from two teenage yahoo boys who tried to kill her for a suspected money-making ritual. It was reported that they lured her to a secluded place and strangled her till she became unconscious.
The suspects, a 19- year- old boy named Oluwatimilehin Afolabi and his alleged herbalist, another 19- year- Old boy named Kehinde Mustapha were arrested, arraigned, and remanded in prison by an Ekiti State Chief Magistrate’s Court in Ado Ekiti, for allegedly attempting to kill the s3* worker.

According to the information contained in their charge sheet, the prime suspect, Timilehin lured one 23- year- old Blessing, the s3* worker, on February 2, 2022, to Ikere Ekiti with the intent to murder her. This is contrary to sections 516 and 320 of the Criminal Code, Cap. C16, Laws of Ekiti State, 2012.
Narrating her ordeal in a statement at the police station, the victim said;

” I am a commercial s3* worker in a brothel at Ikere Ekiti and Oluwatimilehin is my customer. On that day, he called me around 8. 55 pm to meet him somewhere along Ise Ekiti Road, Ikere Ekiti.
” On getting there, I met him as agreed. We were going together when suddenly Timilehin moved back and held my neck from the back. He strangled me until I became unconscious. After some time, I regained consciousness with blood gushing out of my mouth. I was rescued by some passersby. Timilehin was later arrested and he mentioned Kehinde as his herbalist. “

Chief Magistrate Bankole Oluwasanmi said the 2 suspects will be remanded in the prison and adjourned the case till March 10 for mention.
” The first and second defendants are to be taken to the Nigerian Correctional Centre, Ado Ekiti, and remanded there for 30 days, ” said the judge.
Recall that a similar case is currently ongoing in Ogun State where 4 teenage boys are also standing trial for killing one of their girlfriends for a money-making ritual.
