Memory Lane: How Indian Man Sliced Open His Pregnant Wife’s Belly To Find Out If She Was Having A Boy Or A Girl.
This recent story really left the world in shock. A man in India reportedly sliced open the belly of his wife when she was just 4 months pregnant.
Picked up by The Times media source in India, the unusual events that occurred on Saturday 19th September last year in Uttar Pradesh have left the whole world in utter shock.
According to the reports, the aggressor, a 43-year-old man, was convinced by a priest that his wife was expecting a little girl, which would be the sixth for the couple.

However, the man was desperate for a boy and asked his wife to abort the child, which she refused to do.
Faced with the unknown and his desire to know the s*x of the baby, the aggressor allegedly decided to rip open his 4-month-pregnant wife’s belly to find out for sure.
The victim was immediately taken to the hospital.
She was quickly treated at the Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi, and luckily, doctors were able to save both her life and that of her unharmed baby.

The victim’s relatives have opened up about the incident and confessed that this was not the first time that the man had attacked his wife.
“My brother-in-law often used to beat my sister for giving birth to five daughters. Our parents had intervened on several occasions. But no one imagined that he would take such a cruel step.”
“Fortunately, he was arrested and incarcerated after the incident and is now facing charges for attempted murder.”
