Remember Joseph Phillips, The Boy Who Stabbed His Friend To Death Seven Times For An Unknown Reason? See His Recent Pic.
We stumbled on a piece of cold news about a boy who killed his friend during a fist fight; tho it happened about 24 years ago but this story will educate children and young adults on why engaging in crime can be bad.
According to multiple reports, Josh Phillips who was only 14 during this period killed Maddie Clifton. He then hid her body under his bed and slept on it for a week.
Clifton was only 8 at the time too when she was asked to play with Philips; she went there and along the line, a fight broke out between the two. Josh pulled her inside, strangled her, and beat her with a baseball bat to keep her quiet after she yelled out loud, fearing retaliation from his parents.
The following day, at 5 o’ clock, Clifton was reported missing. Getting inside, Phillips took off his mattress before slitting the girl’ s throat. She was placed under his bed after being stabbed seven times in the chest. The entire community searched for Clifton over the following seven days. Phillips’ family also participated in her hunt.

Phillips slept with her body hidden under his bed the entire time, curbing the odour with incense and air fresheners. Seven days later, while Phillips was at school, Phillips’ mother went to clean his room and saw an odd wet mark on the floor. And when she stepped in for a closer look, she discovered the little girl’ s scattered body.

His mum then informed the police who arrested him. Philips was given a life sentence with no chance of release. Philips having spent 24 years in prison is currently feeling remorse.

As you can see Philips is now 38 years old and if there is one wish the world could Grant him is leaving the prison. We doubt if that can really happen.
Crime does not pay, it ends up ruining person’s life. Imagine what Philips would have become in life if her hadn’t committed this crime.
