SAD: Final Year UNIJOS Female Student R@ped to De@th by Hoodlums Identified As Ruth Yakadi

The University of Jos community is in mourning following the assassination of a 400-level English student by suspected hoodlums.

Ruth Yakadi, of the Anaguta tribe in Plateau State, was said to have been murdered after being r@ped by her assailants.

In the viral video, Yakadi was lying near a canal with bl00d all over her b0dy, according to Metro.

The corpse was discovered in the early hours of Sunday, according to witnesses near the scene of the incident, which occurred in the Farin-Gada community.

The discovery of the body enraged some residents, who staged a protest, while hoodlums took advantage of the situation to attack traders and other passersby.

When contacted, Prof. Jeff Doki, Head of the Department of English at UNIJOS, stated that the deceased was awaiting mobilization by the National Youth Service Corps following the completion of her project.

He said, “I have lost three students since I became HOD in 2021; two males in July and September 2022 during the strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities.

“Information reaching me indicates that the girl who was k!lled last night (Saturday) at Farin Gada is a spill-over student of our department.

“She was supervised by Dr Douglas Kaze and has issues with her long essay. Perhaps she was done with the project, perhaps she was not.”

“Information available shows the girl was r@per and k!lled afterwards. As things stand now, we are wondering if they are rapist or assassins.”

The Deputy Registrar, Information and Publications of the University of Jos, Abdullahi Abdullahi did not take his calls when contacted on the incident.

A text message sent to his phone was also not replied to as of the time of filling out his report.
