Mr Uche Odoputa before his arrest was a popular Nollywood actor, writer, and film producer who disappointed so many of his fans. He was very famous during his acting days.
In 2000, Uche joined the Nigeria movie industry widely known as (Nollywood). He has acted in over 200 Nollywood and indigenous movies since joining the movie industry. Some of his interesting movies includes movies like The Captor, Eagles Eye, odum na akwaeke, Brother’ s war, pains of poverty which so many of his fans love.

Mr Uche Odoputa has won so many awards in the course of his career which include The Best Actor in a Leading Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards which was held some time ago, most Prominent Actor in Nigeria at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards, Best Actor in Nigeria at the Golden Icon Movie Academy Awards, and Most Promising Actor in Nigeria at the City People Entertainment Awards. All this awards were won by the young handsome actor, who was envyed then by most of his colleagues.

This young handsome actor did what got his entire fans angry with him, he was doing well in the movie industry before his arrest and surprisingly what everybody heard was that Mr Uche was arrested.
Uche was later convicted and sentenced for drug trafficking, he went to prison for about 3 years and lost his entire carrier, now you need to see what the famous actor is doing for a living.
Mr Uche is now a driver and one of the aides to an APC chieftain by the name Emeka Ebekee in Port Hacourt.

Emeka Ebekee who is also the state secretary to APC in Rivers State has been spotted on several campaign grounds with the Actor.
After each campaign, the Actor takes over the wheels and drives him own.
Opon his release from jail the popular actor cried out of the mistakes he made in life and advices the young Nigerian youth who are just coming up to stay focus on what ever they are doing and stay away from crime.
According to the actor, he said he wanted to make quick money that’s why he went into drug trafficking.
Drug trafficking is a serious crime punishable by death in some advanced country, he is lucky to still be alive.
