Nigerian soldiers are said to be the best across sub-Saharan Africa and can compete on the battlefield anywhere in the world, but when you see such a video like this one we’ll be sharing, then you begin to ask the question “what has gone wrong with our Army?”

An embarrassing video of a military officer in Nigeria molesting an innocent citizen on his right has provoked social media users and Africans at large.

Have our military deteriorated to this point where they now intimidate innocent civilians on their right?

According to reports making waves online, A Nigerian Army officer identified as Nasiru was said to have slapped a Nigerian International footballer, by the name Chikeluba Francis at ShopRite road along garden avenue Enugu.

Further investigation reveals that the army personnel who was obviously driving in the wrong lane to cut out the traffic jam on the road clashed with the footballer and slapped him after he was challenged by the footballer for using the wrong path.

However, the scenario became ugly as the footballer and his friend blocked the army officer who later brought out a machete to attack them. He also announced that he would be charging the footballer to court soon for abuse.

Now the question is this, who’s abusing who in this context?
