
In a move to bolster grassroots support for the federal government’s agenda, Mr. Seyi Tinubu on Monday, September 1st, 2025, led a high-level strategic meeting with all the Senior Special Assistants to the President on Community Engagement.

The roundtable discussion brought together the aides representing Nigeria’s six geo-political zones: Hon. Abdullahi Yakasai (North-West), Hon. Moremi Ojodu (South-West), Hon. Abiodun Essiet (North Central), Hon. Chioma Nweze (South-East), Hon. Gift John Bull (South-South), and Hon. Abdulhamid Yahaya Abba (North-East).

The meeting served as a platform for the SSAs to present reports on their various strategic engagements, policy alignment efforts, and specific initiatives tailored to the unique needs of their respective regions. The objective was to ensure that the government’s projects and messages are effectively communicated and felt at the community level across the nation.

Mr. Seyi Tinubu, who has been a prominent advocate for the effectiveness of the Community Engagement office, steered the discussions toward critical areas of governance. The agenda focused on enhancing strategic planning, improving inter-agency coordination to avoid duplication of efforts, streamlining reporting and briefing protocols, and solidifying support for the administration’s Renewed Hope initiatives.
