Reality star and fashion entrepreneur, Kim Kardashian and rapper husband, Kanye West are no doubt one of the power couples in the entertainment industry.
They have been together for six years through thick and thin and their kind of love is worth emulating. However, all that is about to go right into the bin as new reports claim the couple is filing for divorce any time soon.

Let’s take a look back at their relationship timeline, the good, the bad, and the ugly times.
Kim Kardashian met Chicago-based producer Kanye West in 2003 while working as an assistant to R&B star, Brandy — who happens to be the sister of Kim’s ex and infamous s3x tape partner, Ray J.
At the time, Kim was married to songwriter Damon Thomas yet, Kanye didn’t see that as an obstacle. He wanted Kim for himself and did everything possible to get her.
“I just knew I wanted her to be my girl for a long time,” he told Ryan Seacrest in 2013. “I remember I saw a picture of her and Paris Hilton, and I remember telling my boy, ‘Have you seen that girl Kim Kardijon?’”
He still kept his cool when she left Damon and moved to date NBA player, Kris Humphries who played on his friend Jay-Z’s team, the Brooklyn Nets. They were married for 72 days before Kim filed for divorce.
He once confessed;
“And I’ll admit, I had fell in love with Kim / Around the same time she had fell in love with him / Well that’s cool, baby girl, do ya thang / Lucky I ain’t had Jay drop him from the team,” the lyrics read.
Then, his time finally came in 2012 where her sisters, Kourtney and Khloe hinted that Kim and Kanye were dating. They also made several public appearances confirming the relationship. By June of 2012, Kim proclaimed herself to be “a proud girlfriend.”
The couple announced that they were expecting their first child together during a 2012 New Year’s Eve performance.
“It’s true!! Kanye and I are expecting a baby,” she wrote on her personal blog at the time.
“We feel so blessed and lucky and wish that in addition to both of our families, his mom and my dad could be here to celebrate this special time with us.
“Looking forward to great new beginnings in 2013 and to starting a family. Happy New Year!!! Xo”
At this time, Kim was battling with the divorce process from her ex-husband, Humphries. Against all odds, she gave birth to her first daughter, North West on June 15, 2013.
When she was finally free from Humphries, Kanye proposed to her in October 2013 at AT&T Stadium in San Francisco.
They got married on May 24, 2014, in Florence, Italy. The 200-person ceremony was captured by “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” cameras and featured the bride wearing a Maison Margiela gown while the groom wore Givenchy.
Their wedding photo became the most-liked flick on Instagram in 2014.
From then on, the couple has had to weather different issues together and coming out strong.
After facing months of fertility issues. Kardashian gave birth to their second son, Saint West, on December 5, 2015. The birth was even featured on an episode of their show, Keeping Up With The Kardashian (KUWTK).
They welcomed their third daughter, Chicago West in 2018 with the help of a surrogate mother as Kim was diagnosed with placenta accreta, making pregnancy for her very risky.
It is also important to note that Kanye is one of the celebrities who suffer a mental condition known as ‘bipolar disorder’ and it takes a strong person to still stick around such individuals.
Following his “slavery was a choice” comments, Kanye confirmed his bipolar diagnosis and confessed in May 2018 song “Wouldn’t Leave” that he feared Kim would leave him after his several media outbursts.
“‘Slavery a choice, ‘ they said, ‘How, Ye?’ / Just imagine if they caught me on a wild day / Now I’m on fifty blogs gettin’ fifty calls / My wife callin’, screamin’, say, ‘We ’bout to lose it all!’ / Had to calm her down ’cause she couldn’t breathe / Told her she could leave me now / But she wouldn’t leave,” the lyrics read.
