SUICIDE: 200 Level University Student Dies After Drinking Snipper in Ondo.
The management of the Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko in Ondo State says it will investigate the reason behind the death of one of its students identified as Feranmi Fasunle.
Fasunle reportedly died as a result the substance suspected to be sniper that she allegedly drank on Wednesday night.
It was revealed that the 200- level student of the Department of Political Science of the university drank the substance in her room on Wednesday night and was immediately rushed to the school medical centre but was later referred to the Federal Medical Center in Owo where she finally died on Thursday.

The reason for the deceased action against herself was not known though It was insinuated by some people that the deceased had relationship problems but this claims were refuted by her friend as they said she had no boyfriend.
Victor Akinpelumi, the Head of Media and Protocols of the institution while confirming the incident described the student’ s demise as sad, saying there was indication that the deceased committed suicide for another reason and due to relationship matter.

Akinpelumi said It is true she committed suicide.
though we have not been officially briefed but the only details we have is that she took sniper.
” The sad incident took place on Wednesday and we have not carried out our investigations to ascertain if she committed suicide over emotional or relationship issues but from what we gathered, we are told she had no boyfriend.
” The doctor, who spoke with me confirmed that those who brought her disclosed they were closed to her and that she was not involved in any relationship. So her reasons for doing that to herself are what we are yet to know.

” We will further react if we later know why she took that decision to take her own life. ” Akinpelunmi added.
