Two Things That Refused To Burn In Igboho’s House Despite The Fire Incident.

After Igboho’ s house was destroyed by fire, see two things in his living room that did not burn down.

It was reported recently that one of the houses belonging to Yoruba humn rights activist, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Igboho Oosa, was razed down by suspected arsonists.

The incident occurred at about 3 am in the morning while people were still asleep. Shockingly, despite the huge fire explosion that destroyed Sunday Igboho’ s house, two items in his living room were not burnt at all.

Despite the fact that his house was on fire and most of the things in it were burnt, there were two things in particular that remained intact without getting burnt.

It was learned that it was his house in Soka, Ibadan, that was destroyed by the fire. According to a Reporter, the activist lived in the building before relocating to a new building on the same premises.

Although the cause of the fire is yet to be established, we noticed something very strange. When I saw the photos of the house after it was destroyed, there were two things in his living room that never burnt.

In Igboho’ s living room, there was a particular portrait hanging on the wall with the words ” Mr. and Mrs. Adeyemo” engraved on it, but blurred.

The fire did not touch the portrait where it was hung, despite the severity of the fire. I was quite surprised because the fire destroyed practically everything in the house except this portrait, which probably contains the picture of Igboho’ s father or him and his wife, I’m not too sure.

The wall where the picture was hanging has turned black and the paint on the wall has even started peeling off due to the heat of the fire, but this picture remained intact. I wonder how this is possible.

I checked other photos of the aftermath of the fire and found that only this painting was not destroyed by the fire. Everything else in the house was damaged by the fire. Even the ceiling cracked, showing that the fire was quite massive and heavy, but I am still puzzled how the fire did not touch the portrait hanging on the wall in Igboho’ s living room.

A quick and speedy investigation is needed to bring the perpetrators to justice. It is quite inhumane to burn down the house of a man who is only fighting for the lives of his tribesmen. Many well- meaning Nigerians, including Femi Fani- Kayode, have condemned this disastrous act. He said people behind this act are only looking for war, conflict, bloodshed and carnage, but he prays they do not get what they are looking for. This is an invitation to war, but it should be avoided.
