UPDATE: Lady Explains Why She Faked Mansion Testimony in Church.
Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” It was with this same faith that a young lady from Zion Ministry, led by Evangelist Ebuka Obi, came forward during a church service to testify about a miracle—a mansion she claimed to have acquired.
But as the story unfolded, it became clear that things were not as they seemed.

A few days ago, an unidentified lady, a member of Zion Ministry, stood before the congregation to share her testimony. She claimed that the Lord had blessed her with a mansion, which she said she acquired through her own hard work and savings, without any external assistance. Her testimony was met with joy and celebration by many in the church.

However, just days later, the same lady was spotted selling provisions in a local shop. This discovery sparked outrage on social media, with many accusing the church of orchestrating fake testimonies to attract followers.
The lady has since come forward to explain her actions. According to her, she was “exercising her faith.” She claimed the mansion out of faith, believing that one day she would indeed own such a property.

In a recent video, Evangelist Ebuka Obi, the spiritual leader of the church, revealed that the woman had been arrested for falsely claiming ownership of a house that did not belong to her. This move was intended to clear the church’s name and distance the ministry from her misleading claims. It remains unclear whether the lady has been released or is still in police custody.

While having faith is commendable, falsely claiming to own a mansion when you do not is not only misleading but also against the law. This incident raises important questions about the limits of faith and the consequences of misrepresentation.
What do you think? Did she take her faith too far?
