UPDATES: Two Among the 5 Boys Who Allegedly Killed Sylvester Oromoni Are on the Run.
Confusion as Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, says two out of the 5 accused students of Dowen college whose names were mentioned in the assault of 12- year- old Sylvester Oromoni Junior are currently on the run.
This was revealed in an interview with newsmen where he said the three others arrested are helping the police in their investigation. Although he did not mention the name or identity of the three students arrested, it is believed they are Kashamu Micheal, Benjamin Favor, and Aslem Temile.

The police boss also said the school principal, housemasters, and other officials of the Lekki- based school are also being investigated. They are all under the custody of the police assisting with the investigation.

He further explained
” It is still an allegation until we conduct our investigation. We just started the full investigation yesterday (Monday). Two out of those mentioned in the viral video are at large while three of the students are helping us to get others.

Meanwhile, Nigerians are doubting if the police in Lagos will be able to arrest the fleeing students. Recall that there were insinuations that some of them have traveled out of the country already. This information further fueled the rumor.
