(VIDEO) Another Bully Incident At FGGC Owerri Days After the Death of Sylvester Omoroni Junior.
Just days after the death of Sylvester Omoroni Junior rocked the internet when some senior student in his hostel allegedly bullied him to death, another similar incident has repeatedly occurred in Owerri, the Imo State capital.
In a video posted online by an actress Rita Edochie, some girls who are suspected to be Federal Government Girls College, FGGC Owerri, in Imo State were seen bullying their colleague in their hostel.

She wrote: ” Happened at FGGC Owerri Imo State. A FEDERAL SCHOOL OOOOOOOO WHERE YOUR CHILD IS SUPPOSED TO BE SAFE.
” DON’ T THEY HAVE THEIR TEACHERS, HOUSE MISTRESSES? UNTIL THIS GIRL DROPS DEAD THE SCHOOL WILL NOW COME AND TELL STORIES. SATAN HAS TAKEN OVER THE WORLD. “
No one knows what her offense was or what made them attack her in such a manner. Throughout the time the bullying lasted in the video shared, she did not fight back. She just looked subdued and helpless as they were beating and dragging her.
Thankfully, unlike in the case of Sylvester Omoroni Junior, the bullied girl was later rescued by one of the girls in the hostel from the hands of her abusers. She quickly rushed down and gave her protection from the gang of bullying girls.

What happened to the girl later was not known or if the matter was reported to the appropriate authority in the Federal Government Girls College, FGGC Owerri. Also, it is not clear whether the video was a recent one or not. Whichever the case may be, it is worth talking about to curb the menace of school bullying that is ravaging our secondary schools.
Meanwhile, the case of Sylvester Omoroni Junior is under serious investigation. Human Rights activist and a lawyer, Femi Falana has been hired by the family of the late boy. Corona’s inquest is being required now to ascertain the actual cause of his death.
