Where Is Her Innocent Look? Reactions Trail Photos Of Talented Owerri Teenage Girl – Salle Discovered Last Month.

The now popular and Nigerian fast-rising singer and songwriter that was discovered last month in Owerri known as Salle, is currently trending again on the internet for a not-so-good reason. The young innocent girl that was announced to the world a few weeks back is not looking innocent anymore.

According to a popular report, she is preparing to release her debut Extended Play (EP) anytime soon. Her Management team then took her to studios to have some photoshoots. However, the pictures which appear to be too s3xy and revealing are now causing some reactions on the internet.

How She Was Discovered

Kosisochukwu Gospel Peters a. k. a Salle was discovered in Owerri, the Imo State capital. She is a 17- year- old from the same Imo State where she was discovered. Nothing much is known about her parents but popular reports have it that her mother was a petty trader.

Salle was returning from where she had gone to hawked staple foods for her parents before she was accosted by some good Samaritan who recorded her freestyle song and gave it to Tundeednut who then posted it.

Immediately the blogger, Tundednut in September 2021 posted the video of Salle where she was seen singing with a tray on her way back from hawking for her parents which is a daily routine from her mother’s shop on the street of Owerri, she was shot to fame straight.

Before the discovery, she had less than 1000 followers on Instagram. But after she was made public by the blogger, her followers rose to 221, 000 and are still counting and raising till now.

The American singer, Rihana, reportedly contacted her. Also the renowned CNN Journalist, Christiane Amanpour had invited her for an interview which is likely going to be granted in America. Davido and Don Jazzy have expressed interest in signing her into their respective record labels.

Everything is just working for her until she posted her new look picture which is now causing some negative reactions from some Nigerians.

The S3xy PhotoShoots

According to information, no record label has officially announced her signing. Although rumors have it that Davido is very much interested in her. He wants to make her the Queen of his DMW record label. She was also reportedly seen in the studio with Don Jazzy too, but none have signed her yet.

In the meantime, she has a management team and they are working on her debut EP which she is billed to release anytime soon. This made the management team take her for a photo studio session in preparation for the release of the EP.

The young and talented afro- fusion artist said in an interview granted recently that ” my prior aim is to make good music at the end of the day and live forever in people’ s souls.

” I have a lot of amazing projects I am working on and so far so good I can promise the world good music. Be it a single or an EP the goal is to satisfy your soul. “

Reactions

From the photos released which are now online and everywhere, she looks s3xy. All the outfits she wore in the video exposed some parts of her body especially buttocks and cleavage. In one of the pictures, she was wearing what looked like ordinary black pants and a net.

This, according to some Nigerians, is the wrong way to start her music career in the music industry. Some people believe that she is just 17 years old girl known for her pretty young voice, that her management should keep it at that. Not to expose her innocent body all because they wanted her to ‘ blow’ . She is a musician, not a model. Her talent is in her voice, not her body.

One of the people who share this sentiment is the former Presidential aide to Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri. Reno called out the handlers of the teenage girl discovered on the streets that her innocence should not be tampered with.

Reno said she could still make it in the music industry without exposing her body. He then gave examples of Adele, the British singer who made it without exposing her body.

He wrote:

” May God bless and prosper her. I prefer her former look. Her talent is her voice, and her grass to grace story is her appeal. I hope those managing her don’t strip her of that undefiled innocence we saw barely a month ago. That unspoiled, pure innocence is her ticket to the top! There are so many artists with s3x appeal. That field is crowded. Adele set the record for the longest-charting album by a female solo artist without losing her innocence. And I am confident Salle can go far with it, “

Conclusion

There are arguments for and against the choice of dress Salle wore in the photoshoot. In the music industry of ours(Nigeria), she doesn’t necessarily need to wear that kind of dress to ‘ blow’ Simi is a good example. Nigerians largely know Simi for her songs and voice.

However sometimes, especially in the way our music and entertainment industry is designed, you have to have your style. Style of dressing, singing, dancing, even speaking. There is little or no space for moral standards of dressing in our music industry except she wants to do Gospel music.
