Popular Nigerian musician, Late Victor Uwaifo was one of those who believed that mermaids truly exist as he claimed to have seen one before he died.

Even though Victor Uwaifo passed away on August 28, 2021, at the age of 80, his legacy will be passed on, from many generations to another, Aside from his work as a singer, Victor Uwaifo is the owner of several businesses, including an art museum called the Revelation Tourist Palazzo.

One of its kind guitar Sculptures
There are several eye- catching pieces in Victor Uwaifo’ s museum, including two amazing guitars, a guitar and keyboard combination which can also play self- accompanied melodies, and a double- neck guitar. These guitars were totally designed and built by him on his own time and budget. He dramatically showcased the potentials in him as a guitar boy while he was still alive. His excellent performance with guitars was one of the biggest skills that earned him so much respect and awards.
Slavery and the Slave Trade Sculptures

In addition to the slave market, the Uwaifo Victor museum has a number of other interesting exhibits. There are around ten sculptures of women and men in this location, all of whom are connected by a chain around their necks. Meanwhile, some people sat in tears while others struggled to stand up. On the other hand, there’ s an impressive sculpture of a man guessed to be a white, who appears to be going to whip one of the slaves.

Another striking aspect of Victor Uwaifo’ s exhibit is a series of sculptures depicting the execution of Anini Lawrence, a notorious criminal who plagued Benin City before being executed by firing squad in 1986.

The sculptures of Anini and his two other gang victims are all posed in Victor Uwaifo’ s museum as if they were all in real life.
Induction into the Hall of Fame
This part has paintings by Victor Uwaifo depicting prominent Nigerian figures, which may be found in the hall of fame. Adams Oshiomhole, Donald Duke, Nwankwo Kanu, Wole Soyinka and so many other notable figures are shown in these paintings, among them Donald Duke and others were spotted among the heart touching sculptures.
Mermaid Sculpture on a Stone Base
The late Victor Uwaifo was a well- known mermaid sighting witness who claimed to have witnessed one while relaxing and also playing with his guitar on that beach. He was terrified, so he grabbed his guitar and he tried to flee. A warning from the mermaid, though: ” Guitar Boy, should you encounter Mamiwata, don’ t run away from him. ” ” Please continue to play your song. “
The incident can be also depicted in the museum owned by Victor Uwaifo. Upon entering, the sound of rushing water can be heard. At its far end, in a pool, a mermaid sculpture holds a bowl of coins, which she offers to other sculpture of a male, who is presumed to be Victor Uwaifo, who accepts the bowl. The male sculpture, who is dressed in red and partially submerged in water while playing guitar, is a work of art.
