How I Was Abducted and Gang-Raped by Fulani Herdsmen.
A kidnap victim has given a chilling account of how she was abducted by herdsmen in Isa-Ogwashi-Uku area of Delta state, gang-raped, and forced to drink another victim’s blood.
Her travails started when she embarked on a journey from her home town of Ubulu-Uku, Aniocha South Local Government to Asaba, the state’s capital.

According to her, she had boarded a commercial vehicle at the park and while enroute, they saw a fallen tree on the road at Isa-Ogwashi but assumed it was due to the downpour of the previous night but on approach, herdsmen suddenly jumped out of the bush and smashed the driver’s window and tried to pull him out.
All hell broke loose and passengers jumped out and ran in disarray into the bush as the vehicle slowed down to a stop.
She was however unfortunate and was seized by her captors who took her into the bush and demanded a ransom of N20 million.
That night, they took turns raping her as she cried in agony.
“They were five in number and spoke in Fulani dialect. Only one of them could speak English. I was blindfolded and had my hands tied. Five of them took turns to rape me that night”.
During her last days in their den, having had no food nor water to drink, she demanded for some, but was offered the blood of another Victim as water.
Her ransom was negotiated to N5 million and the leader of the gang eventually let her go.

Nigeria’s security challenges keep getting worst daily.
In every corner of the country kidnappings and killings abound.
Herdsmen continue to kidnap, rape and murder innocent citizens across the country while our leaders act like all is well.
The herders see this nonchalant attitude, as a silent approval by their kin in power and continue to maim law abiding citizens at will.
We urge President Buhari to call his kin to order as they do not have a monopoly of violence.
