“I Was Delivered From the Marine World to Deliver Others” — Tonto Dikeh Shares Powerful Testimony After School Ministry
Nollywood actress turned evangelist Tonto Dikeh is celebrating what she describes as a major spiritual breakthrough after God used her to deliver a teenage girl from demonic attacks during a school outreach.
In a video that has since gone viral on social media, Dikeh was seen praying fervently for a secondary school girl who suddenly fell under what many describe as the power of the Holy Spirit. The girl, who appeared overwhelmed, began screaming before eventually calming down after the prayers.

Taking to her official page, the actress shared the full story behind the emotional video, giving God all the glory and revealing her personal journey from deliverance to becoming an instrument in God’s hands.

What Happened at the School
According to Dikeh, she and her evangelism team were driving out of a secondary school after a outreach program when she felt something unusual in the spirit realm.
“Today, God allowed me to see a glimpse of the ministry He has placed upon my life. I was delivered from the marine world so that I may become an instrument in His hands to deliver others,” she wrote .
She continued: “As we were driving out after our evangelism at the school today, I suddenly sensed a spirit of death hovering around the environment. I immediately shared this with my team and we began to pray.”
In less than two minutes, a young girl ran up to her and asked for prayer. Encouraged by her friends, the girl opened up about what she had been experiencing. She told Tonto that she had been seeing bats appearing around her repeatedly .
“We began to pray, and the Holy Spirit took over. The presence and glory of God filled that moment. The spirit of death was confronted, the demonic attack was broken, and God’s power brought deliverance,” Dikeh wrote .
The actress also revealed that the girl was among over 100 students who had given their lives to Christ earlier during the outreach. This, she noted, made the deliverance even more powerful and timely.
“To the glory of God, she was also one of the students who gave her life to Christ earlier, which made the work of God even more powerful and timely. My team and I will be following up with her as the Lord continues His work in her life,” she added.

Dikeh described the moment as just the beginning of what God is doing through her and her team. Quoting the Bible, she wrote: “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.”
The actress did not forget to acknowledge those she credits with shaping her spiritual journey. She thanked her spiritual father and mother, Pastors Jerry and Eno Eze of the Streams of Joy International, for their role in raising what she called “radical soldiers for God.”

“Papa, thank you for praying over and blessing the materials we used. God truly went before us, made a name for Himself, and His glory was revealed in our midst,” she wrote .
She described the pastors as leaders who are raising women who are “changing the narrative and advancing the Kingdom of God against the kingdom of darkness.”
Tonto Dikeh’s journey from acting to full-blown ministry has been anything but quiet. The mother of one, known for her bold personality both on and off screen, announced her transition into evangelism some time ago and has since been dedicating more time to church activities and outreach programs.
Her testimony about being delivered from the marine world is not new to those who follow her closely. She has spoken in the past about her past experiences and how God rescued her to use her for His glory.
This latest video, however, has brought her ministry work into the spotlight once again. Many of her followers have flooded her comment section with congratulatory messages, while others have shared their own testimonies of deliverance.

As expected with any post from a public figure, reactions have been mixed. While many praised her for using her influence to reach young people, a few questioned the dramatic nature of the deliverance.
One follower wrote: “Mama Tonto, this is powerful. God is really using you. Keep winning souls for Christ.”
Another said: “The way that girl screamed and fell, it was not a small thing. The power of God is real.”
But there were also skeptics. Some social media users called the video staged, while others asked why such things always happen only when cameras are rolling.
Despite the criticism, Dikeh’s supporters have stood firmly by her, arguing that God works in mysterious ways and that no one has the right to question His methods.
Beyond the video and the reactions, what stands out in Tonto Dikeh’s post is the number of young people who reportedly gave their lives to Christ. Over 100 students, according to her, made that decision during the outreach.
For a country where youth involvement in religion is often debated, this number is something many see as worth celebrating. Whether one believes in the deliverance or not, the fact that young people are being reached and engaged is a positive development, according to religious observers.

Dikeh herself seems focused on the mission ahead. “God is only just beginning with us as a team,” she wrote. “All we can say is: Thank You, Lord Jesus, for everything You did today. Over 100 young champions gave their lives to Christ. God is reclaiming what belongs to Him: THE WORLD.”
What Next for Tonto Dikeh?
If this latest post is anything to go by, Tonto Dikeh is not slowing down anytime soon. She has made it clear that this is just the beginning of what God is doing through her and her team.
With more outreach programs likely on the way and a growing following both online and offline, the actress-turned-evangelist seems determined to make her mark in ministry the same way she did in Nollywood.
For now, she continues to share her testimony, win souls, and encourage her followers to believe in the power of God to change lives.
