A man who is in his middle age has been accused of s3xually assaulting his only daughter by a vigilante group in Delta State, Nigeria. The middle-aged man identified as David Okpoklo was arrested on Tuesday for s3xually assaulting and impregnating his sixteen-year-old daughter in the community.
According to sources, the accused man threatened to kill his daughter several times if she attempted to inform anyone about what he was doing. However, she could no longer stand the torture and assault from his said father and decided to report him to a very aggressive vigilante group in their community.

In the early morning hours of Friday, the vigilante group arrived at the man’s house to teach him some lessons before carrying him to the police station. After several beatings and interrogations by the vigilante group, the man finally admitted that he had slept with his daughter but only once under the influence of alcohol but the girl said otherwise.
According to the girl, her father used her for his s3xual satisfaction knowing very well that she was his daughter, and even went ahead to impregnate her. She claims that this abuse started after her father divorced her stepmom for some unknown reasons. The man used to threaten her not to open up on the issue to anyone else he will kill her.

David was later handed to the community’s Police department for justice to take its place and the police have also cautioned the community to resist child and s3xual abuse. David can be facing a maximum of 20 years in prison, the police mentioned.
