Seventeen-year-old Nafisa Abdullah Aminu, a student from Yobe State, Nigeria, has emerged as the world’s best in English language skills.
She achieved this remarkable feat at the 2025 TeenEagle Global Finals, a prestigious competition held in London, United Kingdom.
Nafisa, representing Nigeria through the Nigerian Tulip International College (NTIC) in Yobe, competed against more than 20,000 students from 69 countries. Her victory is particularly impressive as she outperformed many students from native English-speaking nations to secure the top spot.
The TeenEagle English Language Skills Competition, which culminated in the UK Global Final 2025, is designed to test participants’ proficiency in various aspects of the English language. Nafisa’s win highlights her exceptional talent and the quality of education she has received.
