Sad: Gr@ph!c Photos of Female Corps Member Who Was Stabbed To Death While Jogging In Kaduna

A tragic incident occurred in Kaduna State on Wednesday morning, October 18, 2023, when a member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) was brutally murdered by some unknown assailants suspected to be armed robbers.

The victim, Grace Chalya Silas, was a graduate of Special Education from the University of Jos. She was serving her fatherland as a corps member in Kaduna State when she met her untimely death.

According to sources, Grace was jogging along the road when she was attacked by the robbers who shot her and made away with her belongings. She was rushed to a nearby hospital but was confirmed dead on arrival.

The police have launched an investigation into the incident and have vowed to bring the perpetrators to justice. The NYSC authorities have also expressed their condolences to the family and friends of the deceased and promised to provide them with the necessary support.

Grace was described by her former classmates and colleagues as a cheerful, hardworking and intelligent person who had a bright future ahead of her. She was passionate about education and had a special interest in helping children with special needs.

Many of them took to social media to mourn her and demand justice for her. They also shared photos and memories of their time together at the university and during the orientation camp.
