Back pain can be a scorching, acute, or muscular aching that can be caused by disc issues, chronic illnesses like arthritis, or strained muscles. Management and prevention
The best remedy for managing back pain is by staying active. Also, regular exercise and daily stretching after waking up plays a crucial role in preventing back pain. Other remedies include;
The use of pain killers and anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen, paracetamol, naproxen.
The use of heat and/or cold therapy to sooth the pain for the first 1-2 days.

Early detection of abnormal growth or tumors could reduce the long term effect that back pain cause.
Adjusting your sleeping pattern and posture. It is best to sleep sideways or on your back to keep the spine in its original alignment. Also, it is necessary to choose a mattress that conforms to your body type that is not too hard or soft.

It is advised to see a doctor for further investigations when pain is severe lasting over a week causing numbness, weakness, tingling, weight loss and does not improve with pain killers.
