See The Two Notorious Armed Robbers Arrested With A Day Old Dead Baby.
The Lagos State Police command has arrested two armed robbers with a dead little baby close to the general hospital in ikeja.
The police inspector in charge of the ikeja division of the Nigerian police command while addressing newsmen said that the command received a distress call that some notorious gang of armed men invaded the hospital and stole a year old baby, which according to reports the baby died on the hands of the robbers because the could not handle the child.
The police anti-robbery squad arrived at the scene of the incident, but on getting there, the robbers had made away with the child.

After further investigation by the police the robbers were tracked and traced to a location.
The police intercepted the robbers who engaged the Police in a gun battle but were overpowered and arrested, they were arrested with the dead baby which they stole from the university teaching hospital.
Speaking at the state police headquarters the police boss ordered that the criminals be transferred to their special intelligence unit for serious interrogations
Based on series of interrogations they confessed and accepted the crime.
The two robbers who were identified as Ikenga Obina and Chibuzor Duke are all indigenes of Anambra state who have been in Lagos for years.

They confessed and told the police that they went into robbery because of a lack of jobs after they finished university in their town. When asked why they stole the child, they told the police that they needed a day old live baby for rituals but they mistakenly killed the one the Kidnapped from the hospital.
The police commissioner paraded the suspect told newsmen that the criminals were caught with foreign pistol guns which they used for robbery. The baby was needed for fortification so that no bullets can penetrate their body.
They will be charged to court as soon as possible.
