Supreme Court Dismisses Ihedioha and PDP’s Application for the Review of Imo Governorship Election

Imo Governorship Election, Nigeria’s Supreme Court Tuesday dismissed the application by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Emeka Ihedioha for the review of the apex court’s judgement which sacked him and his party as Imo State Number One.

Delivering their judgement on Tuesday, six Justices of the Supreme Court dismissed the review application in favour of incumbent Governor, Hope Uzodinma.

On the other hand, one Justice expressly gave a dissenting view, indicating that the Supreme Court’s judgement ought to have been truly reviewed and reversed accordingly in favour of Ihedioha.
