After his last heart desire went viral on the internet, lots of social media users are talking about a convict who has been sentenced to death and is awaiting execution.

As the Bible says, “train up a child in the way he should go so that when he grows up, he will not stray from it”. I’m very much sure that there’s a chapter or verse in the Qur’an that also tells parents how important it is to raise their children in a moral way.

These are the important signs that show parents should set an excellent and pure moral example for their kids to follow. While certain lifestyles may seem natural and beneficial to teenagers while they are at their tender age, they need the guidance of someone in the right direction or to keep them on their toes, and no one can ever do this better than their parents.

Unfortunately for some children, one of their parents (mother or father) will always support them, whether they do the right thing or not. However, keep in mind that because these children were not told or instructed to do what is right from when they were young, they will grow up and continue to do the wrong things.

This young man, you are about to read in this article, is a very great example. After being imprisoned and sentenced to death, he expressed his final wish while awaiting his execution. He requested to be given a pen and paper, and after a few minutes of writing, he called the jail guide to have the letter delivered to his biological mother. The following is an excerpt from the letter:

“Mother, if this world had more justice, instead of simply me, we would both be executed”. “You, as much as I, share responsibility for my way of life”.

Do you remember the time I stole and returned a bicycle that belonged to a young child my age? You aided me in keeping it hidden so that my father wouldn’t notice.

“Do you remember the day I snatched money from a friend’s wallet”? “You spent the money at the mall with me”. “Do you remember how my father rushed out after I got into a confrontation with him”? “He was merely attempting to correct me because I had been terminated after stealing the final results of my exams”.

“Greetings, Mother I was only a child when I became a troubled adolescence, and now I’m an illiterate man”. “Instead of approbation from someone like you, Mom, I was just a youngster in need of direction. But don’t worry, I’ve accepted your apology!”

“All I want is for my letter to reach as many parents as possible so that they understand that education is what determines whether or not a person is good or bad”.

“Thank you for giving me life and for assisting me in losing it, mum. “Don’t worry, misbehaving child,” says the narrator.

This is a very hug lesson to all the parents out there, that bring up their children in the wrong way at their tender age.
