The Nigeria Police have arrested and detained Prophet Adeniyi Adebayo, also known as Prophet Ogunse, founder of the Light of God Miracle Embassy Church along with his son, Promise Ogunse, in connection with the murder of Awesu Mojisola Morufat, a recent female graduate of the Kwara State College of Health Technology in Offa.

Promise Ogunse, the son of the founder of The Light of God Miracle Embassy Church Worldwide, has been identified as the prime suspect in the alleged murder.
According to reports, Promise invited the victim to a hotel in Ilorin last week. The victim’s body was later discovered at a dumpsite, and it is believed that hotel staff may have disposed of the body after the assailants fled the scene.

A source confirmed, “Yes, the lady was invited by the pastor’s son to a hotel in Ilorin. Her body was found at a dumpsite. The police have since apprehended the suspect and his father, who is a pastor. Both are currently detained at the police headquarters in Ilorin.”
When contacted for a statement, Kwara State Police Command spokesperson, DSP Toun Ejire-Adeyemi, said she would provide a response later, but as of the time of this report, no further update had been given.
