Goodwill Ambassadors Events Agency and it’ associate Kelvin Akpochimoraa Music Promotions Limited is partnering with UN on poverty eradication and peaceful co-existence through sensitization of people in the Delta region of Nigeria about the value in peaceful co-existence, as well as awareness on climate Change.
Speaking to Toktok9ja Media during a press conference, tagged “Celebrating our Peace Icons’ the convener Amb. Chris Odey said the”Niger Delta Youth Peace Conference aim to sensitise the youths in the region on the importance of a peaceful co-existence among indigenes and visitors.”
“Niger Delta Peace Ambassador Awards will be presented to outstanding personalities who have contributed positively in peaceful dialogues and conflict resolutions, grassroots community development, massive youth and women capacity building.”
“This project is significant as it will unite leaders who have strong passion for humanity thus, serving as catalysts of social change in the society especially in the Niger Delta region.”
“The Niger Delta Peace Ambassador Awards is a way of celebrating individuals who championed the promotion of peace, justice and empowerment of youths and women in accordance with the UN Declaration.”
“We shall also use the occasion to also showcase our hospitality, rich culture and heritage to the world via food, fashion and dance. This event will be aired live on major television stations.”
The Niger Delta Peace Ambassador Awards shall hold on October 24th, 2019, at the Sweet Spirit Hotel, Event Center, Asaba.
