Kanye West Faces Lawsuit Alleging Harassment by Former Assistant.
Kanye West is facing legal action from Lauren Pisciotta, his ex-assistant, who has filed a lawsuit citing allegations of sexual harassment, breach of contract, and wrongful termination.
Pisciotta claims that West sent her inappropriate messages and engaged in sexual behavior while they were on the phone together, as reported by US media outlets. She states that despite being fired in 2022, she never received the promised $3 million severance package.
While the BBC reached out to West’s lawyer for comment on the allegations, no response has been received as of now.

The lawsuit, initially reported by TMZ and later confirmed by Rolling Stone, The Wrap, and US Weekly, alleges that court documents were filed on Monday in the US. However, the BBC has been unable to verify this filing.
According to Pisciotta, she was primarily supporting herself through an OnlyFans profile when she met West in 2021. She claims he hired her to work on his Yeezy women’s fashion line and collaborated with her on three tracks from his Donda album, although she lacks formal credits on the record. Subsequently, West hired her as his personal assistant with an annual salary of $1 million, on the condition of being available “24-7,” which she agreed to.
Initially, West allegedly allowed Pisciotta to continue her OnlyFans business, but in 2022, he purportedly requested her to delete her account, offering an additional $1 million. After complying, she claims she received explicit messages and videos from West, who allegedly masturbated while speaking with her on the phone and even in her presence on one occasion.
Pisciotta further asserts that she was promoted to Chief of Staff for West’s various companies around September 2022 but was then abruptly terminated without receiving her severance package.

In addition to the aforementioned allegations, Pisciotta is suing West and his Yeezy businesses for fraud, unpaid wages, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
This isn’t the first time West has faced accusations of inappropriate behavior. In a previous incident, employees of his Yeezy fashion line claimed he played explicit films during staff meetings and showed intimate photos of his then-wife, Kim Kardashian, during job interviews.

West, who has not responded to these recent allegations, has previously discussed struggling with pornography addiction, attributing it to choices made throughout his life.
Aside from legal troubles, West’s recent career has been marked by controversies, including the termination of his Adidas contract due to antisemitic comments and a lawsuit for unauthorized use of a sample from Donna Summer’s song. Despite this, he saw success with the release of his single “Carnival” and its accompanying album “Vultures,” topping charts earlier this year.
