Let’s Talk – NO WOMAN IS A SINNER BECAUSE SHE WEARS TROUSERS TO CHURCH THIS IS WHY

Deuteronomy 22:5 The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are an abomination unto the LORD thy God.

James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. 2:11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. Not even because you cook on Sunday.

INTRODUCTION:

Any Pastor or Church which debars women from wearing trousers based on The Law of Moses or Deuteronomy 22:5 is preaching Another GOSPEL. Such GOSPEL is actually cursed.

WHY?

The Church of Jesus is not regulated by the Law of Moses. The RIGHTEOUSNESS of The Church is not in what we eat or wear.

Colossians 2:16 Let no man, therefore, judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of a holy day, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

All the above were part of the Law of Moses and Christ had redeemed us from all of MOSES’ Laws…

In fact, the Bible says that whoever continues to keep them, including judging people on what they eat or wear, is actually the person under the Curse.

HIS DEATH, BURIAL, AND RESURRECTION ENDED THE LAW OF MOSES FOR THE BELIEVER

Romans 10:2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 10:3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. 10:5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.

ZEAL WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE IS BLINDNESS

Paul addresses the RELIGIOUS Leaders Who impose these Laws of Moses on People redeemed as Men who have a zeal for God but lack KNOWLEDGE.

They are ignorant of God’s righteousness hence establishing their own righteousness (Based on Moses’ Laws) thereby making Salvation based on our conduct and physical appearance.

Jesus addressed them as The Blind Leading The Blind(Matthew 15:14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch).

Their blindness is what Paul calls Zeal without Knowledge.

CONCLUSION:

Moses gave about 513 Laws. One of them is that women should not wear Men’s attire? Another is that anyone who eats beasts with 4 legs shall be killed. Again another says if you marry a wife and later do not like her, you can return her and collect your bride price. Again another said no one shall wear clothes in different colors.

All these and more were part of the Law of Moses.

But James 2:10 says if you keep all the Laws but offend in one, You guilty of all.

You can’t wear a Black Suit, White Shirt, and Red Tie and then condemn a Woman Who wears Trousers to Church. You are guilty of the same offense.
