Prince Harry took his wife Meghan Markle out for a spin in an eco-friendly Jaguar that was hailed ‘the most beautiful electric car in the world’.
The two left Windsor Castle in the light blue stunner as they headed to their reception at Frogmore House, a 17th-century venue in the grounds of Windsor Castle on Saturday evening.
The roadster, which is adapted from a 1968 version to include a zero emissions electric motor and plug-in battery, costs a cool £350,000.
The revamped classic car’s number plate read ‘E190518’ – a tribute to the newlywed’s wedding date.

But not content with just one jaw-droppingly beautiful dress, the blushing bride changed into a Stella McCartney number for the evening reception. The British designer was one of the contenders to have made her main dress so it’s no huge surprise.
The slinky style and high neck is typical of the new Duchess of Sussex’s style and we love the silk fabric and high halterneck. It fits like a dream, and when teamed with Aquazzura heels, we’ve fallen in love all over again.
It’s of course a bespoke creation so isn’t available to buy, but click (right) to browse the current Stella McCartney collection, or channel Meghan’s look with the help of our edit below.

Harry helped his new wife, who was wearing a flowing Stella McCartney gown, into the car, as she held the long dress.
The bespoke lily white high neck gown was made of silk crepe, while her Aquazurra shoes are silky satin with soles painted in baby blue.
The royal couple sped off towards Frogmore House, as around 200 guests are due to join the couple at the evening event and where Meghan is set to make a speech to guests.
They travelled in a converted electric car to the English country house, which stands in the home park of Windsor Castle and is part of the Crown Estate.
It is only open to individuals on three days of the year.
Actor James Corden, who attended the ceremony earlier with his wife Julia Carey, is set to play the role of host and entertainer for the reception, it is reported.
The newlyweds smiled as they drove off in the stunning car, with Meghan beaming in the passenger seat.
Speaking of the ‘most beautiful electric car in the world’, Tim Hannig, Director of Jaguar Land Rover Classic, said: ‘We have integrated the new electric powertrain into the existing E-type structure, which means a conventional engine could be reinstalled at any point. We think this is essential as it ensures a period Jaguar remains authentic to its DNA.’
‘E-type Zero combines the renowned E-type dynamic experience with enhanced performance through electrification. This unique combination creates a breathtaking driving sensation.
‘Our aim with E-type Zero is to future-proof classic car ownership. We’re looking forward to the reaction of our clients as we investigate bringing this concept to market.’
