Arguably the greatest African footballer, Samuel Eto’ o Fils is one of the best strikers to have graced the game of football. The Cameroonian was loved by fans all over the world, on and off the pitch.

Samuel Eto’ o had a famous career playing for the biggest side in Europe at the peak of his career. Eto’ o began his professional career in Europe with Real Madrid but was sent on loan to various La Liga clubs such as Leganes, Espanyol and Mallorca.

Eto’ o joined Barcelona, but was popular to the world from Mallorca before the rest is history. Speaking of Laurels, Eto’ o has won everything single thing to win in Europe.

A three times UEFA Champions League winner, and two times treble winner with different clubs, Samuel Eto’ o won treble back to back with Barcelona and Inter Milan in 2009 and 2010, respectively.

Winning the Club World Cup, league titles all over Europe. On the African scene, Eto’ s legendary position is still unmatched. The Cameroonian has been crowned an African player of the year four times, winning the 2000/2002 Cup of Nations and the 2002 Olympic gold medal.

Eto’ s success has given him luck on both the pay and support deals. A few years after his retirement, Samuel Eto’ o is still african richest player with a net worth of around €95 million.

In 2006, he founded the Eto’ o Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping poor and underprivileged people, especially Africans, to protect children and youth, provide emergency assistance and promote education, and basic health among other things.

Samuel Eto’ o got married to his longtime girlfriend Georgette on July 6, 2007 and they have four children, Maelle, Etienne, Sienna and Lynn. In 2015, he bought an Italian mansion worth €18. 5 million, the Altachiara mansion is a historic property in Portofino near Genoa in northern Italy and has 40 rooms and 30, 000 square meters of land.

While Eto’ o has an expensive fleet of cars, valued at about £4 million, it is his Bugatti Veyron that is the coolest and most expensive. He’ s a fan of good cars and he rides includes a Maybach Xenated worth around £750, 000.
