TVN Announces Celebratory Homecoming for “Tourism Across the Niger” Project.
As the groundbreaking “Tourism Across the Niger” initiative nears its conclusion, preparations are underway for a grand homecoming ceremony to honor Ambassador Phil Roberts and his team. The Tourism Volunteers Network (TVN), the driving force behind this historic trekking project, has formed a dedicated Project Committee to orchestrate the event. The committee is heavily coordinated by the FCT Tourism Department, Ministry of Tourism, Nigerian Police POCACOV, and the FCTA SDS, who were integral to the project’s launch.

The homecoming event aims to celebrate the successful journey of Ambassador Phil Roberts and his team, who have trekked from Abuja through Kogi, Edo, and Delta State, showcasing Nigeria’s rich cultural and natural heritage. Otunba-Akile Adisa, the CEO of Food Crowd, has been appointed Project Chairman, leading the efforts to ensure a prestigious and memorable celebration. Adisa will collaborate with various subcommittees to achieve this goal, and the committee remains open to additional team members, sponsors, and partners.
