Benue State, Governor Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Delivers 100 Buses For Transport In Benue State.
In a move to alleviate the ongoing hardship experienced by the people of Benue State, Governor Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia PhD has fulfilled one of his promises by acquiring 100 buses for the state.
The Governor had earlier promised to tackle the high cost of transportation within the State.
In his speech, he said:
“I am pleased to announce the successful delivery of 100 buses to Benue Links, which is a significant step towards alleviating transportation challenges faced by travellers within our dear state.
This initiative fulfills a commitment I earlier made to the good people of Benue, aimed at offering affordable transportation services for both passengers and the efficient movement of goods.
I wish to extend my sincere appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his instrumental role in introducing a range of palliative measures for states to choose from and implement solutions tailored to address the specific needs of the people.”
The new buses are expected to significantly improve transportation services in Benue State, and reduce the cost of travel for residents. They will also boost the state’s economy by creating jobs and facilitating the movement of goods.
The Governor’s commitment to improving transportation infrastructure in Benue State is commendable. This initiative will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the lives of the people of Benue State.
