If Tinubu built Lagos, Who are these MEN?

The forthcoming general election in Nigeria is getting more interesting, the center of attention is the Presidential Elections with three major contenders Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Atiku Abubakar, and Peter Obi.

There have been many claims by APC supporters that Tinubu has a better structure, he fixed Lagos State and as such is the best contender for the Presidential race.

A Twitter user has come up with the question “if Tinubu built Lagos, Who are these MEN?” The men she is referring to here are other Governors and past leaders that controlled the affairs of Lagos even before Tinubu.

In her words she said:

“Ladies and gentle men, if Tinubu built Lagos .. Who are these MEN.”

The question has sparked wide debate on Twitter with Nigerians reacting differently.

What did those mean do about the persistent ocean surge before Tinubu came,what did they do about the IGR before TInubu came,what did they do about laying a foundation for the metro rail line ?

If Tinubu really generated so much by way of IGR how come he left behind a foreign loan of about $242M and billions in domestic debt? what did he do with the IGR and with the loans?

Others did absolutely nothing till 1999-2007. And Lagos was made Lagos in 8years. A great sign and Wonder governor indeed powerrrr

What is modern about lagos please? And before you answer 17 cowlane, okepopo, lagos Island is my family house, in case you need it to answer the question. The govt water we used to enjoy disappeared after this guy Tinubu took over. Thieves doubled, so what’s modern about lagos
