We are proud to announce a special one-day training event designed specifically for aspiring broadcasters like you!

Event Details:

• Date: 28th March 2024
• Time: 1st Session 10am, Second Session 4pm
• Location: Volunteers’ House, House 9, 6th Avenue, Opposite Road Safety Galadimawa, Gwarimpa, Abuja.

ABOUT TOURISM VOLUNTEERS INITIATIVE FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AKA TOURISM VOLUNTEERS NETWORK

This is a Network of Tourism and hospitality volunteers with a passion to grow and promote the tourism investment potentials of our dear country. This project is a national project which kick-started from the Federal Capital Territory Tourism Department designed to work with Tourism commissions all around the country, built on the principles of volunteerism and patriotism with a vision to grow our tourism sector through various tourism and hospitality engagement programs, to encourage our citizens to be patriots of their various states.

 The network is designed to be the biggest orientation platform for tourism education, promotion, advocacy for the protection of our tourism destinations, and also help in discovering tourism sites in collaboration with state tourism and culture commissions.

Our Mission
To galvanize youths to be patriotic and actively take a stand in promoting all tourist attractions in our dear country; Thus creating a support system in tourism education, increase our GDP through tourism and development to birth the nation we desire for our children. 

Our Vision
To create a NIGERIA that encourages, promotes, and develops tourism as a major socio–economic activity to generate direct investment from both local and foreign to spread the dividends of tourism to both the public and private individuals thus becoming a major tool for employment.

STRUCTURE OF THE NETWORK

We have been able to design a structure for the network that has helped us bring in the right set of people as the network is designed in phases which are

1. THE TOURISM VOLUNTEERS NETWORK: This is the entry point into the network where we have young energetic people who are geared to serve. As we monitor and watch your contribution to the network and if you have contributed immensely you will now be promoted to the Ambassadorial level where we have worthy people with a high level of professionalism in tourism education, advocacy, and promotion.
2. TOURISM AMBASSADORS: This phase of the project serves as the elder Forum where we have great men and women who have contributed meaningfully towards Tourism Development as they serve as the major back-bone to the network, giving support at the advisory level and also financially. Also, note that there is a registration design for this particular AMBASSADORIAL STAGE.
3. LOCAL GOVERNMENT TOURISM DEVELOPMENT CHAMPIONS:
   Local Government Tourism Development champions: These are members of the network at the local government level, who help us in coordinating the grassroots aspect of the network as they are trained to take our Vision, mission and, objectives to every member of their communities on a house to house or door to door strategy propergating our mandate
