Jubilation As Police Gunned Down ”FOWL BOY’, The Most Notorious Armed Robber In Delta State.

Residents of Amukpe area of Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State were thrown into wild jubilation when they got the information that the men of Delta State Police Command have gunned down the most notorious armed robber in the area, identified simply as Diamond alias Fowl Boy, who has been reportedly terrorising and causing mayhem in Sapele.

It was gathered that before he met his waterloo on Saturday, the notorious armed robber, Diamond, had been terrorising Sapele and its environs, causing many residents to live in fear.

It was also gathered that the police command of the state had been on his trail for a long period of time now, before he finally ran out of luck on Saturday, when he and his gang members attacked the residents of one man in Sapele.

This was disclosed in a statement on Sunday by the Police Public Relations Officer of the Command, DSP Bright Edafe.

Edafe said, ” A heavy gun duel ensued between the police and a notorious armed robbery syndicate; these armed robbers have been terrorising residents of Sapele for some time now and the police had been on their trail.

” The deadly armed robber, Diamond, met his waterloo on Saturday, June 26, 2021, after a distress call was received by the Divisional Police Officer, Sapele Division, from the tropical area of Amukpe that a three- man gang of armed robbers was in the house of one man in Amukpe, Sapele. “

In another development, a suspected car thief in Asaba was arrested while attempting to snatch a Toyota Camry car.

Edafe said, ‘ ‘A young lady went to pick her children from school on Friday, parked her vehicle at Regina Mundi by the Ogbe- Ogonogo Market, Asaba, and the suspect opened the door and was trying to remove the steering lock when the lady returned and raised the alarm. ‘ ‘
