SSS 1 Female Student Fatally Stabbed to Death in Kubwa Abuja.
In a tragic incident in Kubwa town, FCT, a 19-year-old secondary school student named Salma Yunusa was fatally stabbed, allegedly by her co-tenant.
Salma Yunusa, who resided in Kubwa under the care of her elder sister, Bilikisu Yunusa, was involved in a dispute with their co-tenant, Immaculate Chukwudi, residing in the same compound.
According to Bilikisu Yunusa, the tragic events unfolded during an argument involving the suspect, another male tenant known as Pastor, and herself. She recounted that an altercation occurred over laundry, leading to threats from the suspect towards her. Later that night, the suspect brandished a knife and caused disturbances in the house.
The following morning, tensions escalated when the suspect spat on water fetched by Bilikisu, leading to a confrontation where the suspect poured water on Salma, who attempted to wipe it off. In a fit of rage, the suspect fatally stabbed Salma in the chest.
Salma was rushed to Kubwa General Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival. The police were alerted, leading to the arrest of the suspect.

The tragic incident resulted in Salma’s burial in her hometown, Ajagwumu, in Dekina LGA of Kogi State. Josephine Adeh, the spokesperson for the FCT police command, confirmed the incident, stating that investigations are ongoing, and charges against the suspect are forthcoming.
