Store Keeper Arrested After He Murdered His Boss and Ran Away with 700k.
Ondo state police command has apprehended a middle-aged man, Adewale Adegoroye, for allegedly stabbing his boss, Akinmulero Akinwumi, who was also the manager of Ondo Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society, to death and ran away with a huge amount of N700, 000.
The suspect aged 42, who was the Assistant storekeeper of the company allegedly stabbed Akinwumi, 60, to death on Wednesday morning after demanding for some money from the deceased who refused to give the money.

The suspect was said to have met the director after noticing that he had just returned from the bank and asked for some money, but the manager refused to give him.
The suspect, however, allegedly descended on the man and stabbed him to death before running away with the money the Manager got from bank for some farmers.
He was arrested within the town by some of his colleagues in the same job.
On interrogation, the suspect claimed to have served his dead master for almost a year without being paid, and when he asked for his money to eat and the manager refused, he decided to stab him and made away with all the money he saw.

The suspect who was apprehended, however, denied going away with the whole money, saying ” he left the place with only N200, 000 immediately he killed the manager and he never intended to kill him but just to go away with some of the money. “
Speaking about the arrest, the State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Mr Femi Joseph, narrated that the suspect was apprehended by men of the police from the command after he was caught by some people.

The suspect according to the police has given useful statements to the police and they police has assured that once investigations are concluded the police will surely charged him to court.
