Remember The Blind Boy Adopted By The Nigerian Musician Flavour? See The Woman That Gave Birth To Him (PHOTOS).
Not many Nigerian celebrities are known for showing aggressive help to their fans, but there is one who did the unthinkable that got many people talking.
When it comes to showing the act of kindness, not everybody can do that. We’ve heard of people who have gone as far as expressing their love publicly.
This they do when they get an opportunity to visit the orphanage homes, meeting those who are less privileged and sometimes the vulnerable.
The act of kindness can be portrayed in a very little way, even at that, it means a lot to those benefiting. Celebrities in Nigeria have gone a long away to show examples by doing it themselves, quite a number of them have been seen sharing foodstuff to the elderly ( Tonto Dikeh and Destiny Etiko).
Others have adopted kids who aren’t even theirs, bringing them into their home to train and cherish them as their own kids.
Today we will be looking at one of the few popular Nigerian celebrities whose act of kindness hasn’t gone unnoticed for years now, how he has managed to balance his music career and relating to the public.
He’s no other person but Chinedu Okoli. Chinedu Okoli popular known as Flavour is a Nigerian-born musician, born on the 23rd of November, 1985. He hails from Enugu State, Nigeria.
Flavour is a singer, a songwriter and he’s also popularly known for his love for instruments and he’s sure good at it.
He was once a drummer boy at a local church while he was growing up as an artist, from there he got the switch into the Nigeria music industry, his fame has since gone far beyond the shores of Nigeria, Africa and beyond.
It was during one of his visits to one of the African countries three years ago, that Flavour meets this young cute blind boy called ‘Semah. G in Liberia. It dawned on the Nigerian singer to adopt the boy and make him his own, as this gives him the privilege of changing the boy’s life even better.
Not everybody knows that Semah G Weifur has a real mother who is still alive and very much healthy. We were told he was found in an orphanage, am not disputing that fact, despite having his mom who is alive, the Nigerian singer took care of the boy as his own irrespective of what anyone or anybody thinks.
Just so you know, Semah G. Weifur was born blind into poverty, he was been cared for by an NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) based in Monrovia, known as the Christian Association Of the Blind (CAB). Life has been really tough for him until God used Flavour to make the difference.
In another report, Nigerian artist, Naira Marley took to Twitter to volunteer to sing the national anthem for UAR. This comes as the reports have gone viral that the name Nigeria could be changed to United Africa Republic UAR.

He said a change of name for the country would physically and psychologically reflect a new beginning.
“At this crossroads in our history, it is mandatory that we change our name to reflect a new beginning which will be ushered in with a new constitution,” he said.
Naira Marley who has joined a list of growing Nigerians to react to the proposed change of name has said he would be the new one to sing the National anthem for the new name.
