An Indian woman may be the world’ s oldest mother after giving birth to her first child at the age of 75. In fact, she may be the oldest, perhaps older than the Biblical Sarah.
Jivunben Rabari, from Kutch in western Gujarat, and her husband Valjibhai Rabari, 75, had their first child, a son named Lalo, via Caesarean section.

The couple, who had been married for 45 years, had been trying for a child for decades without success until conceiving their first child through IVF. After learning about the technique from relatives, they approached Dr. Naresh Bhanushali, who owns the Harsh IVF Centre in Bhuj.
” Her blood pressure was elevated, so we had to deliver the child via C- section in the eighth month, ” Dr Bhanushali told The National. ” We had a team of specialists on standby, including a cardiologist and a physician. . . Because of her age, anything could have gone wrong, but she was alright and gave birth to a healthy baby. “

When the old woman originally came to see him, the doctor said he was taken aback and even recommended her not to go through the IVF process for months before giving in to her request. ” They came to my clinic for the first time a year and a half ago. Jivunben Rabari’ s age has not been independently verified, and it is unclear whether she will pursue official entrance into the Guinness World Records books.
