VIDEO: Church Deacon Caught On-Tape Be@ting His Younger Sister To C0ma In Benue State.
The Benue State Police Command has arrested one Mr. Kelvin Iorfa, a deacon of a popular church in Benue for brut@liz!ng his younger sister to a c0ma over undisclosed issues with him.
The video which has gone viral on social media captured the church leader fl0gg!ng the he@lpless woman until she slvmped, an action which has caused wide condemnation with many calling for the arr3st of the man.
The church deacon was eventually arrested by police according to Benue activist, Ukan Kurugh, after one of his friends Mr. Jenkins Tar, facilitated it. Meanwhile, when he was arrested, the deacon begged for forgiveness. He claimed he was under spiritual attack which made him unable to know what he was doing at the time he was be@ting his younger sister. He said he would never have laid his hands on his sister if not for the spiritual attack.
However, many people see his reason as a flimsy excuse. They believed he was just looking for ways to escape from the blame for his action or playing the victim by saying he was under spiritual attack by an unknown spirit or person. If the spirit led him to be@t his younger sister to that extent, the spirit should also be able to lead him to prison for the crime, they said.
The spokesperson of the command, Catherine Anene, who confirmed the arrest of the deacon on Tuesday morning, April 11, 2023, said he is being interrogated.
“Yes, that is true, he has been arrested, but for the claims on what he said, I haven’t spoken with him yet”, the PRO added.
In the main time, the condition of the sister is stable, and she is recuperating.
It’s possible she may be convinced not to press charges against her elder brother (the deacon) as many will say it is a family matter.
However, such b@rberic act should not go unpunished.
